Sam,
I would like to commend you on yet another outstanding Chincoteague Island Blueberry Festival. I have been doing
art shows for 50 years, and you are the best promoter with whom I have ever worked. You and Jennifer are a very
organized team, dealing with all the many little wrinkles that always come up. Customer parking was maximized by
having golf cart service to and from off-site parking and it was always available. You were on site during the entire
festival to answer questions and to make the exhibitors feel welcome and appreciated. You even sent the exhibitors email greetings for holidays. I have never had a promoter do that before.
The jurying process produced a wide variety of artisans, ranging from fine arts to crafts, clothing, jewelry,
photography and interesting food items. Something for everyone.
But most importantly, the venue was busy and crowded during all three days of the festival and the patrons were enthusiastic and ready to shop. This is the mark of a really good promoter. You brought the crowds.
